Kolkata: They are out of contention for a play-off berth but that won’t stop them from spoiling another team’s party, Kings XI Punjab coach Sanjay Bangar said sending an alarm bell to Kolkata Knight Riders camp on the eve of their IPL encounter.
Despite boasting three World Cup winners in their ranks, the last season’s runners-up have been the biggest flop of the season as they are yet to get their rhythm right with just two wins from 10 matches, pushing them down to the bottom of the points table.
“We have been quiet so far and we are bound to hurt some team in a big way. I expect that to happen sooner rather than later wherein we will hit some teams pretty badly,” the soft spoken Bangar told reporters at Eden Gardens.
