New Delhi: Kings XI Punjab take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 27th match of the Indian Premier League at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh.
Punjab aren’t having a great season this year and the crushing defeat against Chennai Super Kings in the previous match would have only added to their woes. KXIP were bowled out for just 95 runs after CSK put a formidable score of 192 runs on the board.
KXIP came up with a bold move against Chennai, when they dropped Glenn Maxwell, who has had an ordinary tournament so far. The Punjab think tank might contemplate bringing back the swashbuckling all-rounder back in the team.
SRH, on the other hand, haven’t been in the best of form and barring skipper David Warner, none of the batsmen have managed to score on a consistent basis. Like Punjab, SRH too have lost four out of six games and despite having one of the best bowling attacks in the tournament, they have failed to restrict oppositions for paltry scores.
Dhawan-Warner pair will have the onus of getting the team once again to a good start. Zeenews.india.com
