Himesh Reshammiya to play a character Inspired by Raaj Kumar in “THE XPOSE”

After getting huge appreciation for his acting in Khiladi 786 Himesh Reshammiya (who has lost 12 kgs and is looking absolutely stunning) will play a character inspired by yesteryear actor Raajkumar, a suspended cop turned superstar, and Yo Yo Honey Singh to play a negative character inspired by a young hot shot composer of the late 60 s .

The movie is titled “The Xpose’ and will be produced by H R Music and directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan who recently won 4 national awards for his Marathi film Mee Sindhutai Sapkal. Irrfan Khan will be doing a special appearance and plays a character inspired by a real black marketer Alec D’costa who reveals sensational dark secrets of the 60s. He plays the black marketeer who made lakhs during the 1960 s.

The Xpose’ is a mystery set in the 60 s film industry and will have some trendsetting music composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Yo Yo Honey Singh will also collaborate with Himesh on the music for The Xpose. The movie also has Life of Pi actor Adil Hussain playing a character on the lines of Don Vardha Rajan and national award winning Bengali actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty playing a popular showman of the 60 s.

The film will introduce two sensational female leads which will be announced shortly and they will be characters designed on the lines of Zeenat Aman and Parveen Babi when they had just entered the film industry in 1967.

The Xpose’ is a musical thriller in the zone of films like Teesri Manzil with a setting of the Hindi film industry of the 60 s. The characters in that era were truly larger than life and the glamour industry was going through the biggest change when the first sex symbol of the film industry was introduced in this era. The sudden death of a female star plunges the film in a cauldron of mystery.

Sources claim that all incidents are real and have taken place in that era , sources also say that the  mystery angle in the film is real but the makers have chosen to deny that it’s a real story , they are maintaining that the story and characters are fictitious and any resemblance to anybody living or dead is purely coincidental.
Irrespective of this, The Xpose probes a decade never explored hitherto – a space that will be a revelation in Hindi cinema.
