Hero team promotes film in New Delhi – The team of the upcoming film ‘Hero’ attended a press conference as part of the film’s promotion in the capital, New Delhi.
Salman Khan, who is producing the film, interacted with the media persons present at the event along with the two lead actors of the movie – Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Both the star kids are making their debut with ‘Hero’ which has been directed by Nikhil Advani.
Salman was in his element as he talked with the media and cracked many a jokes making sure to have Athiya and Sooraj in stitches throughout the press conference. While both Sooraj and Athiya had gone for a slightly formal look, Salman seemed tobe comfortable in his usual casual fare of a ‘Being Human’ T-shirt and jeans.
‘Hero’ releases on 11th September 2015.
Salman Khan, Nikhil Advani, Sooraj Pancholi and Aathiya Shetty can breathe a sigh of relief. Their film has been given the U/A certificate by the censor board, albeit with seven cuts. But director Nikhil Advani isn’t too worried about the cuts.
“We are quite happy with the U/A certificate. As for the cuts, they are for very random words, such as saala. These cuts make no difference at all to the film’s narrative otherwise.”
Incidentally the original Subhash Ghai helmed Hero had been granted a ‘U’ certificate by the censor board. But the new Hero, according to sources who’ve seen parts of the film is, “far more aggressive and in-your-face” than the previous film which is why the censor board had to make seven cuts. These include Sooraj’s father Aaditya Pancholi’s dialogues and some action sequences
