Event Planning Executive
The jobholder will manage and coordinate from handover to departure successful events (MICE/Catering/Groups) for clients. This covers the relationship building and account management, as well as event management. The candidate should have minimum two years of work experience in hotel operations in a luxury international brand hotel. He should have good understanding of selling techniques and banquet knowledge. He should have sound knowledge in MS Office, email, Fidelio/Delphi/RESERVE.
Sous Chef – (Bavarian and/or German Speciality)
The jobseeker will assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The person will assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing his/her assigned kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
The candidate should have minimum two years of work experience as Sous Chef or four years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands. Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be considered an additional advantage. He should have comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential. Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System with foreign languages like ( German, French,Austrian,Polish,Dutch etc) would be preferred.
Commis Chef – Arabic Kitchen
The position holder will provide an excellent and consistent level of service to customers. The Commis Chef will be responsible to prepare a consistent, high quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
The candidate should have minimum one year of work experience as Commis Chef or two years as Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards/basic culinary skills/good hygiene knowledge
Guest Service Officer – Grand Club
The candidate will be bound to provide an outstanding service to the customers. The Guest Service Officer – Grand Club will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Reception within the Rooms Division. He should have a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management with minimum one year of work experience in hotel operations. The role holder will be bound to give good customer service, must have sound communications and interpersonal skills. Arabic speaking individual would be given preference during the process.
