The jobholder will carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance and calibration of all electronic (PLC/DCS/SCADA) and pneumatic control system instruments in the field and workshop in the assigned field, such as transmitters, control valves, shut down switches and vibration probes and installs cabling as necessary. He will also carry out routine/preventive maintenance of analyzers, fire and gas, all instrumentation and safety system. He will perform servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and restorative tasks on ESD system. He will assist senior technicians during fault diagnosis and restorative tasks on gas turbine control systems, fuel gas control valves and governors.
The candidate should have completed first year of secondary education with three years of diploma or apprenticeship in the mechanical trade (equivalent to UK, City and Guilds/ NVQ or ONC). He should minimum four years of electronic instrumentation maintenance experience in an oil and gas, including significant experience with field analyzers. Production Operator – Facilities
The position holder will be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation and front line maintenance of the processes, systems and equipment in the assigned area of responsibility. He will be operating issuing authority for the assigned area of responsibility for the PTW system. He will be accountable for the safe, efficient and effective monitoring and operation of all processes, systems and equipment in the assigned area of responsibility. He will implement the timely execution of the Planned Preventive Maintenance, (PPM Program), for the assigned area of responsibility, and recording of results in the Maximo.
The candidate should have higher secondary certificate/Bachelor of Science /Diploma in Chemical engineering with minimum five years of offshore process operations experience, (or equivalent), including one or more of the following specializations: Crude separation/stabilization; effluent treatment / disposal; gas compression, (turbo-machinery); sea water filtration, de-aeration, treatment, re-injection, (turbo-machinery). Production Operator – Wells
The jobseeker will be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation and maintenance of the wells, processes, systems and equipment in the assigned area of responsibility. He will carry out a range of operations and maintenance activities in the assigned area of the production platform.
He will accomplish various operational activities on the wellhead platforms to ensure that oil/gas productions are met as per production target and services of Operators and contractors on assigned platforms to safely and efficiently achieve established production objectives within company policies and procedures.
The candidate should have studied till secondary education with minimum two years on the job training in operations and or maintenance. (Graduate or Diploma holders in Chemistry, Electrical or mechanical engineering are preferable). He should have 3-5 years experience in oil /gas process industry with knowledge and experience in the use of modern process control and production systems, preferably in an offshore environment, including two or more of the following specializations. The position holder will carry out the complex fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of Mechanical (gas turbine, compressor, diesel engines, pumps etc) on the assigned production platform and remote well head platforms. He will perform technical, craft specific corrective maintenance (example: centrifugal pump troubleshooting and repairs). He will identify requirements for major repair, replacement and or workshop reconditioning work to be carried out in Jebel Ali.
The candidate should have completed first year of Secondary (10 years) education, followed by three years diploma or apprenticeship in the mechanical trade (equivalent to UK, City and Guilds/ NVQ or ONC). He should have minimum four years of experience in varied installation maintenance and repair experience in a industrial environment, ideally within the Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industry.
