DUBAI: Commercial Bank of Dubai, a leading financial institution in the UAE, is looking to fill vacant positions with suitable candidates. Some of the vacancies are listed below.

Head of Performance & Rewards

The jobholder will manage a team of professional staff involved in providing functional specific HR services to the Bank and will also be involved in implementing operational plans, improving systems and procedures and maintaining a high level of customer service standards. He will plan, implement and manage the activities within functional specific area to provide a professional HR service to the bank on day-to-day basis, ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures and the delivery of high levels of customer service. He will review current policies and practices and recommend improvements in order that changing internal needs are met and more effective operations are achieved.

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum eight years of experience in Administrative and Human Resources functions. He should have successfully completed further training programme on advanced HR and Management. He should be well-verse in both written and spoken English, Arabic language skills will be preferred.

Sr IT Risk & GRC Analyst

The position seeker will support and work closely with the IT Risk & GRC Manager to implement application security program, conduct security code reviews and risk assessments. He will manage third party vendors, service contracts and interact with IT staff on a regular basis. He will work as part of the risk assessment and compliance team by interacting with internal and external stakeholders and actively act as key technical resource in important IT Risk & GRC activities, including independent security assessments, compliance reviews and security awareness.

He should have clear understanding of the technology and operational risks. He will perform periodic reviews of internal applications, procedures and controls; evaluate application development and implementation activities for possible vulnerabilities. He will perform security code reviews and testing using manual and/or automated testing tools.

The candidate should have degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Networks with desirable security certification (CISSP, CISA, OWASP, MCAD, GIAC GSSP .Net, GIAC GWEB).  He should have background in application development with minimum eight years as IT developer. He should possess proven track record in a regional bank with good understanding of bank operations and have IT security project management experience.


Relationship Manager, Commercial (AL Maktoum Branch)

The position holder will maintain & manage an assigned portfolio with existing commercial clients to retain & grow their banking relationships in a profitable manner and in line with assigned business growth targets. He will identify, solicit and acquire new commercial clients in line with approved corporate strategies for assets, liabilities & trade. He will be expected negotiate appropriate credit lines in conformity with the bank’s underwriting standards and risk adjusted targets after thorough analysis of information necessary for the preparation of a detailed credit proposal. He will be responsible for making regular visits to clients for both monitoring and business generation purposes. Such visits to be recorded by way of call reports which are to include all pertinent information in a timely manner.

The candidate should have degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management with minimum four years of experience in commercial banking including 2-3 years of exposure to Commercial Banking in the UAE. The individual should have had exposure to one or more emerging markets. He should have commercial acumen and ability to prepare plans and strategies are essential.

Training Manager

The candidate will provide value-added inputs to Head of Employee Development to ascertain the training needs and ensure that quality training programmes are designed and delivered in the areas of banking operations and thus support the achievement of Department’s Objectives and Mission of the Bank.  He will provide support to Head of Employee Development to develop and formulate annual training budget and plan. He will conduct training need analysis and examine the training needs for the whole Bank in the areas of banking operations to develop a suitable annual training plan. The individual will design, organize and conduct suitable training programmes in banking operations to enhance the knowledge base, understanding and proficiency of the Human Resources.

Though an individual with a graduate degree in business-related discipline is eligible for the post but candidate with post graduate or MBA in Banking or Finance would be given preference. He should have minimum eight years of banking experience with complete knowledge and clear understanding of banking operations.
